In 2012 Air Canada celebrated its 75th anniversary. It is the15th largest commercial airline in the world and was named the “Best International Airline in North America’ for the third consecutive by SkyTrax.
Air Canada is one of the youngest and the most fuel efficient North American carriers, offering more flights to Canada from London Heathrow than any other airline. This winter Air Canada will operate over 60 non-stop flights a week to the major gateway cities of Montréal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Halifax, Ottawa and Edmonton.

The lie-flat bed is 6’3” long and up to 31” wide at the shoulders, positioned in a separate cabin with guaranteed front facing suites and direct aisle access. Individual 12-inch touch-screen video monitors offer industry leading in-flight entertainment and a vast array of restaurant-styled meals which are carefully selected to showcase the best of Canadian cuisine, accompanied by the finest Canadian wines and spirits.
Executive First service features luxurious amenities and priority services such as designated check-in and dedicated Concierge services. Travelling in Air Canada’s business class cabin can provide access to Air Canada’s prestigious Maple Leaf Lounges across Canada as well as both the departure and arrivals lounge at London Heathrow.
Air Canada Super Elite members and Executive First customers can benefit from the exclusive service of the Concierge Team. More than 150 specially trained Concierge Agents are available to assist passengers with travel related matters, special requests such as hotel and restaurant reservations and special in-flight meals and entertainment in 20 airports around the world.
The award winning Maple Leaf Lounge is located at all major airports across Canada and key international locations featuring work stations with secured PC, internet access, and complimentary meals and beverages.
Air Canada Arrivals Lounge is located in London Heathrow’s Terminal 3 and is designed to make long-haul travel more efficient and relaxing .The customers will have the opportunity to take advantage of many services such as valet service for clothes pressing. Private bathrooms with shower facilities are available for Air Canada’s customers to refresh themselves.
The newly enhanced and refurbished Economy Class provides generous 33” seat pitch with adjustable, foldable headrest for a better sleeping position, as well as comfy pillows and blankets supplied to ease the jet lag. Personal seat back touch-screen TV offers more than 600 hours of top rated entertainment including the latest movies, TV shows, music albums and satellite radio in more than 20 languages. Complimentary meals, wines and spirits served are also on board.
