ANA - All Nippon Airways is the multi award-wining leading Japanese airline operating a daily non-stop service from London Heathrow to Tokyo Narita with Boeing 777-300ER. Established in 1952, ANA is the eighth largest airline in the world by revenues and the largest in Japan by passenger numbers. ANA flies to 33 international cities and over 50 domestic cites in a fleet of 233 aircraft serving a network of 171 routes. ANA has been a core member of Star Alliance since 1999 and launched a joint-venture with United Airlines on trans-Pacific and Asia routes in April 2011. ANA also launched a joint-venture with Lufthansa on Japan-Europe routes in October 2011 And Swiss International Airlines and Austrian Airlines will join from April 2013.

ANA Wins Airline of the Year

ANA has been named 2013 ‘Airline of the Year’ by Air Transport World (ATW). ATW is the Washington-DC based leading monthly magazine covering the global airline industry and the panel of judges was composed of ATW editors from around the world. The editors look for superb innovation, a consistent and excellent safety record, leadership in eco and technology endeavours and consistently high standards of customer service. This coveted ‘Airline of the Year’ title is given in recognition of outstanding overall performance.

European Joint Venture strengthened with SWISS and Austrian

The European Joint Venture with Lufthansa offering seamless transfers and better connections on 7 routes between Japan and Europe and 208 routes within Europe. To strengthen this Joint Venture, SWISS and Austrian airlines will join from 1st April 2013, enabling us to offer a total of 9 routes between Japan and Europe and 320 routes within Europe.

ANA supports mobile boarding passes within iPhone ‘Passbook’

You can now onboard ANA flights with Apple's iPhone (iOS 6 and above) "Passbook" app. "Passbook" is an iPhone (iOS 6) app developed by Apple as a solution for keeping tickets, passes and membership cards organized in iOS 6. Passengerse who have registered for the Pass will be notified of flight cancellations/delays through "Passbook" for booked flights. For more information please click here.
