The Future of Mobile Travel Technology

Mobile technology has had a huge impact on the travel industry, especially corporate travel. From streamlining the booking process and providing a better user experience, to saving clients time and money, mobile tech has serious benefits. However, according to a 2016 GBTA survey, nearly 70% of businesses are yet to implement a mobile strategy into their travel programme, so haven't seen the advantages - both financial and operational - that mobile technology offers.

Another 2017 survey by ACTE of corporate travel buyers from around the world highlighted how business travel preferences are changing, by an increase in use of market disruptors such as shared economy lodgings, app-based transport and ride shares. This reinforces that, now more than ever, businesses should be overhauling their travel programmes and policies to include mobile technology.

FCM's latest white papers are packed full of advice, expert opinion and insights about mobile travel tech, to help give your corporate travel programme a little boost.

White Paper: Building a mobile strategy for your corporate travel programme

Building a mobile strategy for your corporate travel programme

The increased use of mobile devices for travel has been nothing short of dramatic since the first apps appeared nearly a decade ago. Gone are the days when higher value bookings were still made on a desktop or offline by talking to a TMC; today, the reliance on mobile devices is total and all bookings are made on them, regardless of value. So it's essential to have a mobile strategy in place for your corporate travel programme.
