Workspace provider Regus has announced plans to open the first independent business centre at Heathrow Terminal 5 this summer.
Regus said the move responds to a growing demand for work locations where business travellers can check their emails, hold conference calls and meetings and print documents.
“More business passengers pass through Heathrow than any other airport in the world, making the opening of Regus Express an innovative solution for our customers,” said Heathrow’s property director Stephen Wilkinson.
Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place, said: “This deal is one of many in the pipeline.
“We are currently engaging with transport operators, retailers and hotel chains across the globe to help them establish mobile work facilities for their customers and maximise new revenue opportunities.”
