FCM Travel Solutions will play a leading role at the Institute of Travel Management’s 2018 annual conference which this year takes place in Aviemore, Scotland, on 2nd and 3rd May.
The Institute of Travel Management (ITM) is the UK and Ireland’s buyer-led business travel association with thousands of members across procurement, travel management, intermediaries and suppliers. Each year around 400 delegates attend the ITM conference which features an extensive programme of main stage and break-out sessions covering trends and hot topics in the business travel industry.
Next-generation of interconnected business travel tools
FCM is not only supporting the conference as a Gold Sponsor, but also taking part in the conference programme. Graham Ross, FCM UK’s Head of Sales will join a panel of buyers and suppliers for a session on Thursday 3rd May at 14.15 entitled “Fixing a Broken Process – RFP Tennis”. The aim of the session is to encourage delegates to think outside the box when it comes to RFPs instead of following the well-trodden path. The session moderator sets the scene and kicks off a ‘tennis match’ by ‘serving’ a statement about RFPs to the panellists who each take turns to respond. The audience can then decide for themselves which buyer or supplier wins the point.
Delegates will also discover more about FCM Connect, the TMC’s suite of next-generation interconnected business travel tools, during a video presentation to be shown at the start of one of the plenary sessions.

In addition, the FCM team will be showcasing the TMC’s new online booking tool Seeqa on their stand in the exhibition area, as well as demonstrating the latest developments of Sam, FCM’s innovative ‘Smart Assistant for Mobile’. FCM is also giving away 75 prizes per day. Visitors to the stand can win anything from a water bottle or connector to high value items such Gate 8 cabin bags and retail shopping vouchers in a tombola-style prize draw.
