FCm Travel Solutions has scooped a place on the much-coveted shortlist for Best Travel Management Company (over £200m annual UK sales) in the 2016 Business Travel Awards.
Organised in conjunction with Buying Business Travel Magazine, the Business Travel Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the travel industry’s leading businesses, teams and individuals, who have performed outstandingly in their chosen field over the last 12 months.
Each year categories are carefully chosen to reflect the range of areas and skills that lie at the heart of a successful travel firm or department. The independent panel of judges, made up primarily of business travel buyers, devote a considerable amount of their valuable time, to review and mark each entry in order to identify those worthy of winning one of these highly valued awards.
FCm’s entry this year highlighted the travel management company’s new products and services, including ClientBank Connect, a proprietary national and multinational reporting and analytics tool, which not only enables corporates to create highly-customised dashboards and reports, but also gives them unique access to third-party travel and non-travel expense data for cross-platform analytics.
Another innovation referenced in this year’s entry was FCm’s new Carbon Footprint Calculator which gives corporates even greater accuracy in carbon emission reporting. The software, which has been developed in conjunction with Susterra, takes carbon emission reporting for clients to an unprecedented level as it calculates the carbon footprint of any flight on any airline in the world.
“We are delighted to have made the shortlist for these highly prestigious awards,” said Jo Greenfield, general manager, FCm Travel Solutions UK. “It’s a tremendous achievement for FCm as the written entry submission was an extremely rigorous process and reaching the finalist stage is no mean feat.”
The results of the judges’ deliberations will be announced at the Business Travel Awards ceremony and gala dinner at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on 18 January 2016.
